Not sure as I don't have much experience with these new mountain dogs.  But I do remember my dad telling me to never bring a knife to a gun fight, I would think the same go's for them bringing teeth to that same gun fight, expecially over my kill.......

I'm a firm believer that their is wolves up their and in the clockum too. I believe that we should shoot all the high bread wolves until the can learn to put back the wolves that were here in the first place. The wolves that we are planting are bigger and more vicious than the one that were here before. The only good wolf is a dead one!!!!!!!!!

Technically if you kill one its not considered poaching since you can't poached something that the state says doesn't exist. :twocents:

Wolves have been confirmed and recognized by the WDFW in the Teanaway. Currently they are Federally protected but it looks like the Feds can see the writing on the wall as far as potential damage to wildlife and livestock. Hopefully the Feds will delist them and step down. Then the WDFW can come up with a management plan. Until then our hands are tied. I wouldn't loose any sleep over worrying about wolves bothering you while hunting. If a wolf pack does get aggressive then it would be self defense. Let em have it!!

Where and/or when have you ever heard that WDFW says they don't exist? WDFW has confirmed a pack of wolves in the Teanaway.
