yes and no. Two of us had archery tags and the rest were just scouting for elk and or bear hunting.
i stalked a 3 point on Saturday, but did not want to take a shot at 70 yards. also jumped a small buck, but it wasn't a 3 point so no arrows flew.
It was just great to get out in the woods with my dad again and we took some newbies who had never been up there.
it was a great weekend and we saw a ton of animals. And im sure you all know my thoughts about a hunting trip being successful. "You dont have to kill animals for it to be a successful one."
