Fantastic bucks!  I did the high hunt several years ago but none of the bucks shot or seen were in that class.  Great job guys.

Nice job guy, good scores for sure. Don't feel bad about blasting a bear like that......not easy to hit one that small on the run!......jk. I killed one just like it a couple years agaao while packing a deer out, mine too was self defense....lol.

Nice bucks yes, bears....  a bit sad, but ya gotta start somewhere, and if there weren't so many out there it would take me back a bit...so;  good job all around. :tup: :tung:

Great story. Congrats on a great hunt. I really enjoyed the part about the squeezing the trigger with a flinch and the safety being on. The safety saved me a few years ago as I did the same thing. Calm nerves, deep breath, thank the Lord for having that safety on and giving a second chance, Dirt nap.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

I have seen a buck, maybe the same genes, same main beam dished with splits, but one I saw had more points...   interesting, I wonder if its near same area.... :dunno:
