Goat/sheep units for the longbow
« on: September 25, 2011, 10:45:51 AM »
As I slowly accrue points towards a maybe-someday WA sheep or goat permit, I am curious to know from those with knowledge of the area: what are the best goat and sheep units to be hunted by someone with a longbow?

If I ever draw one of these permits I very much want to do it with my bow, and I'm sure some units are better than others for a bowhunter d/t terrain (ie some units certainly are much more open, some with more cover and better for stalking, etc). I'd be interested in any thoughts. Thanks and good luck to everyone.
