Anyone have a taxidermy reference they'd share in Whatcom County (preferably), or Skagit?

I have a fidelgo elk mount from a montana horseback hunt. It wasn't cheep but just go into thier place and look at the stuff on the wall. It looks alive...  My thought is if it's good enought to mount, and not a euro mount, then you might as well buck up.  :twocents:

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

There's also Wildlife Art Taxidermy in Custer.  Bruce did my African animals and does a great job.  He's reasonably priced too.

The first time I took my kids in there they were in awe.  My kids were 9 & 10 at the time.  They were admiring all the African mounts he has on the wall, and when we left, my daughter said they looked like they could blink and come alive!

Bruce is the best, and he charges accordingly. But doesnt do birds.
