My vote would be for you to post a double sided sign in the exact spot their vehicle was parked that says something like "This property is monitered by video survellience". Make sure your game camera is in a safe and secure location with a lock box and put it back out there.  Chances are they will be back for some more action and you will get some nice shots of their reaction when the realize you "might" have pictures of them.  Either way if the do or don't come back, go to the guy within a few weeks and tell him and his friend to stay off your property.
