Youth Hunt
« on: September 25, 2011, 08:27:44 PM »
My hunting buddy and I took my 11 year old son out for the Saturday opener.  He managed to bag 4 nice birds.  2 pintail, 1 mallard and 1 teal.  Great way to kick off the hunting season.  The smile on his face, all day long, was worth the many hours invested.

That right there, Gentlemen, is the definition of Absolutely Perfect! Congratulations all 'round, especially to a young man, judging from his smile, obviously enjoyed himself - M.D.J.

i could hunt all season and not shoot anything if my boy has that smile on his face.  he's too young to really understand sitting still and quiet but its so worth it because he's having a blast!!!

ya,  i can't wait till my kid gets older too,.. right now when he does out with me he either shoots the  birds with his toy shotgun,.. or if we forget to get his toy then he shoots them with an invisible shotgun,  :chuckle:   he's gonna be 2 in a couple weeks,  so its still a while untill he hunts,..
