Turret Caps
« on: September 25, 2011, 09:45:20 PM »
Can't get 'em off. Leopold 3x9. Never had an issue. I can't grip them tight enough by hand to unscrew. Any suggestions?
Can't we all just get along?

Wrap a few wraps of tape or put a leather glove over it and use pliers. If you screw it up, they will send you a new one free.

I'll try that tomorrow after work. I mean they won't budge. Never, ever had this happen before. Should a guy put something on the threads to keep it from happening again? Seems strange that this happened to both of them.
