Idaho deer opener
« on: September 26, 2011, 03:30:50 PM »
Will anybody be in Idaho for the opener of general rifle season two weeks from today? I will be there with 5 other guys for a week and I can't wait. It looks like this week the weather is still pretty warm but it is supposed to cool off next week with the lows hitting 30 or so. I would LOVE to get a little bit of snow but will take at least some cold temps.  :IBCOOL:

I believe that 3 of the 6 hunters have bought wolf tags so if they see them, they will be blasting. I am torn though, part of me would love to see some wolves so we could have a chance at shooting one but the other part really hopes we don't even see a sign of one so that we have better deer hunting...  :dunno:

I'll be there for elk in 4, not deer though.  Let's hope it really cools off!  Next year I'm gonna start buyin a deer tag, lots of good bucks running around where I elk hunt.
