Solid post.
It is hard to follow one great vision in a world of darkness and of many changing shadows. Among these shadows men get lost.

All the deer I've seen lately have been in the woods. But maybe it's different in your area.   :chuckle:

Well we went 3 for 3. The story and pics are under muzzy hunting. We got a 5x6 double main beam a 4x4 with eye guards and a 2x3.

My parents both tagged out yesterday after not hunting Saturday due to attending a family function... my mother with a 4x4 with eyeguards and my father with a large 2x3 with eyeguards with a very large body.  :IBCOOL: By the time I traveled into the area to help them they had them back to the house and skinned. They continue to put me to shame.  :chuckle:
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

Hunting here is very slow and poor right now. Even for the early season, the cats have moved them out of our area. Lots of yotes saw 4 opening day, 2 sets of cat tracks and bear sign. First time I have seen bear sign over there in years. I can never burn my tag in the early season anyways  :chuckle:

They have a few pics, I'd have to ask permission before I post them... my mother's 4x4 is gorgeous; nice chocolate colored antlers for hers... and my father's is a little lighter in coloration but perhaps a few years older... a little whiter in the face, and more mass but less width. I'll check with them to see if they'll let me brag them up with some photos. They are certainly my role models!

Jeez, doesn't somebody in your family want to come over here and kill a big blacktail in exchange for a big mulie?  :chuckle: (sorry, still bitter over an old thread in the swap department)
