I'll be up in that area a little north of you. Heading up for an elk/bear/cougar hunt. Leaving Thursday but I can't stay the whole week, looks like I'll be coming back Sunday, Monday if I really push it. Not going to go full bore chasing what little amount of elk are up there but I'll poke around a little looking for them and then focus on bears and cougars. Got a cow tag for later in the year anyways so unless I come across something that's too good to pass up I'll be focused on other things. I just think of it as hiking with "options".  :chuckle:

Good luck to you and everyone else persuing elk next week.

Vern, hows that muzzleloader treating you? Did any of that stuff help in finding a load combination that works?

What is this question in reference to? I'm confused. A different thread, maybe?

ML is awesome! I settled on 100gr (2/50gr Pyrodex) pellets, and a 250 grain SST..... Shoots like a charm!

Looks like it may be "soggy" for most of the week in my GMU...... worrying about the "click".....OH SH_T !!!
