Does anyone know it and when WDFW are releasing pheasants on Ebby Island? And where do you park?

Really?  ..and I thought I was going to have it to myself..  I know it's going to be crowded, but it's not gonna stop me from taking my dog out for a little "hunting" close to home.  I plan to hit it during the week.

I was hoping they found an additional north snohomish county release site this year to help distribute the hunters. And yes weekends are crowded, so week days can be good too, still birds around just a little more educated and more of a challenge to hunt, almost like hunting wild pheasants
Anyone know how many acres the Ebby site is?

Who is going out to Ebey tomorrow? I think I will head out around noon or hit up Cherry Valley.

If anyone needs a weekday partner I could be it. Don't work until afternoon and I'm looking to get my pup out after some birds with an older dog to show her the ropes

Its really close to home for me too!! Will be hitting it on my way home from work, put the dog in the back in his kennel in the morning, stop on the way home!

Good idea.  Don't let the crowds discourage you.  Have patience and have fun!

Went out at 1230 today and picked up two roosters at Ebey. Not as much water as I thought there would be out there. Heading to Cherry Creek tomorrow and Chukar/Quail over on the eastside Monday.

Thanks. She is a great dog. Didn't pick up any birds at Cherry Creek today. Kinda of a bummer. I went late though. Hopefully tomorrow will be good for Chukar and Quail.
