That's for the Rem 700.

Sharp Shooter Supply makes one which will work with any Savage, but you would need to either have your stock modified or buy a new stock.

The magazine frame is $150, a 5 round mag is $63, and inletting your stock will cost another $50.

call savage to find out how much a factory bottom metal is and the magazine, you will need screws also and maybe a trigger guard. Then call boyds or stockys and tell them what you have and that you need a stock. when you call savage they will ask for the serial number, that will tell you everything you need about what parts you will buy. whether it is a center feed or a staggered feed.
you could call and ask sharp shooters supply how long it will take, and it could take a LONG while this time of year. They list the service for inletting for $50, it might be a good time to get that Savage accurized, they do awesome work but it takes awhile.

If you have a synthetic stock you will have to get a wood or laminate.
Never, ever let Creed hold you baby, it will ruin it and you will have to get another.

The convenience of emptying the rifle with a detachable is great.  I have both and detachable is darn nice.  Then again I am in and out of the truck alot.

:yeah: When I got my Savage 116 300WM I had a choice between getting a detachable mag and no muzzle break or a muzzle break and a hinged floor plate or internal mag.  No question I picked the detachable mag.  when you constantly have to unload the rifle getting in the truck, which would you rather do: open the bolt drop the mag, Open the bolt and drop the floor plate then pick up all your rounds out of the dirt, or throw the bolt 3-4 times?  door number one please.  Ding ding ding.  I'd trade that one in for a detachable mag model myself but that is without any sentiment attached to the thing.  I can understand sentiment.
Such is life in the West and the further West the more the such.
