Check around for a taxidermist that " KNOWS HOW TO MAKE A BOBCAT LOOK LIKE IT SHOULD ". I've had 1 mounted that looks like it's eyes are way to small and narrow with a tiny head compared to the rest of it. It was, Fugly and I was pissed after spending the money on it.

Heck yeah! I'd mount him! Big burly looking dude with a full head of hair and the 'stache/goatee combo. And mount him just like that with the killer stare down in his eyes too, he's a mean looking cat! (but maybe change his purple shirt to some camo or something?)       heheheh
 
Just kiddin bro, being a smart@$$. But seriously, that is a very sweet looking cat to me! I'd get it mounted for sure! The color looks awesome with the dark spots. Very cool, I'm jealous for sure! Nice job dude!

3nails.  I am 6'4' 300lbs so the cat was bigger than it looked in the pic. We did not weigh him but a few of us guessed 30-40lbs.  He is in my freezer whole so I will weigh him and let you know.

I'd say around around 20 pounds, give or take a few.  My wife killed a 41 pound cat and her holding it around the chest the feet were touching the ground.  Being your first I would mount it for sure.  Did you ever end up weighing it?  Good looking cat none the less.
