I will be heading to unit 6 for the duration.  If needed will I spend a few days in unit 4 for the extension of "any elk" as unit 6 was cut down to 2 days this year.  All of us hunt hard and deep for the big bulls but none of us pass on any legal elk as the meat hunt is first on the priority list.

Be safe everyone!

We are leaving Saturday, I packed this weekend and still feel like I waited until the last minute.  :chuckle: Why is it that I can wait until the day before Christmas to do my shopping and be fine with it but if I am not packed and ready at least a week before a hunting trip I feel like I am slacking?  8)

A friend and my significant other are doing a fly in hunt this year in Idaho... but I think it is for the later season...  :dunno:

Hope you all have success! Looking forward to the photos!
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

Well, I thought i was heading out tomorrow, but...screw it, knocking off early today so I can head over to Lewiston this afternoon.

Seems like a good time to take a half Day! :IBCOOL:   Heading up to the Waha out of Lewiston tomorrow morning after stocking up on supplies. May pick up a wolf tag as well, might need something to hunt the rest of the week if I dump a buck on day 1 (I should be so lucky).

I'll try to remember to take pics & post em up after I get back if the rest of you do!
