I for one denounce ANYONE taking the law into their own hand. This idea of spiking the ground is dangerous and flat out wrong. That moderators of this site allow it is unacceptable. Anyone who does it and if someone is hurt needs to be locked up for a very long time. Cans full of nails is a boobietrap. It should not be allowed to be discussed here any more than shooting someone. There seems to be a group on here baiting people to promote the idea of illegal ATV hunting. Illegal hunting is wrong, period. I know many more people who do not hunt & who ride illegally than hunt that way. It is not to promote or excuse those who do it. But, here we have hunters promoting something far worse than  motorized trespassing, actively promoting popping tires on moving ATV's. When an ATV rolls they are very dangerous to the rider. That you guys say you actively spike roads, well, it makes me happy to know that LE watches this site. You guys are as bad (worse IMO) than any unethical hunter. I want you ALL locked up.
MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

there are people on here that post pictures of elk dragged off the mountain with atv's. where there weren't any roads. le officers will be contacting them shortly

Apparently on National Forest land, that is legal. At least according to norsepeak (member on this site). You cannot ride an ATV on the roads but cross country is just fine.
no it nots legal in any of the 50 states. can you drive your truck anywhere you want to and not get a ticket. tne first ranger that catches you will have alot of fun. was told by one at evans creek atv area that the impound for that. then to get it back you have to pay a very large fine.

 :yeah:

This is what I've been told as well.

You need to do some research. I know Maryland is one state you can go anywhere offroad to retrieve game. They pay skidders to go in the forest to retreive moose. It is legal, and is done every year.
Paddle faster!!,,,,I hear banjo's!!!!
