Very true.   We obviously try to do things by the rules, unfortunately sometimes that creates one hell of a headacheand I add....makes very little sense sometimes

And we do appreciate that, this website is representative of a group and cause so that only makes sense. But if there is no "CONTEST", then we as a group, have not broken any rules......Right?

Here's my  :twocents:

I would rather hear the stories behind every dead coyote posted, just looking at a pic of a dead coyote without any story behind it is pretty boring. I imagine any coyotes shot from 10_1 to present probably won't have much if any "stories" to go with them if they are posted.

Thanks Dale for trying so hard to get it thru

I only have ONE photo..........it was from back early in November. I don't recall the story.............ah hell, I can make sumpin up!  :chuckle: :IBCOOL: :chuckle: I'm sure it had sumpin to do with VarmintVentilator!!

Well guys I am pretty frustrated too.  :bash:

The permit has been held up again, I have had several discussions on the phone, over email, and even in person, regarding this permit. Today I offered a small change in the rules to try and get this through, we'll see what happens. If we don't get a positive reply this week we'll pull the word contest, remove any prizes and rules, and you guys can just bang away and post your photos for everyones enjoyment.

In the meantime you are all welcome to coyote hunt, we just can't enter any animals in the contest until it's approved and I have the permit in hand. They told me I would have an answer Wednesday, let's give it till the end of the week to see what happens with WDFW, then I will let you know if we can have the contest or not.
So the people you are dealing with in wdfw are liars? Didn't they tell you they mailed you the permit? It makes me sick to think that the wdfw thinks that little of us. Even though they are supposed to work for us. I applaud your effort and appreciate everything you do for us. Thank you

Grundy, Donny had told me he was mailing it before he left for vacation that day. He didn't know it was going to be held up by the Assistant Director, so it wasn't a lie, just the way the circumstances ended up. Then there was a delay before the Assistant Director and I could organize our schedules to have a phone conference. After our discussion, I can say they had legitimate concerns which needed addressed.
Thanks, Dale

The WDFW should be paying bounty's on every coyote we shoot instead of creating hoops we have to jump through in order to have a simple contest, in which there are NO PRIZES.

Hello? Is anybody from the WDFW reading this? All we want to do is have some fun and in the process reduce the coyote population, which will in turn, help to increase the deer population! Aren't you guys in favor of having more deer for us to hunt? (hint- more deer helps sell more tags)

A prime example of why people are getting fed up with "Government".  :bash:
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

A little off topic but ... make sure you all write a letter to the dept.. on how pothedic they are and also you are not in favor of using sportsmen monies to reinterduce wolves into the state of Washington... Think about that for a good minute  :dunno: Using our money to end what we love to do ....Go hunting ...how sweet is that !?

It's to bad Bearpaw that you have to waist your time screwing with politics when you could be out doing what you enjoy.

I hope that permit comes soon. I might get in trouble for not helping the deer population grow! :chuckle:

Not necessary for you to wait, go ahead and kill'em, just hang onto your photos for when and or if we get the permit.
