No, can't do that, a forked horn is two up on one side and a spike on the other and you don't coun the eye guards, in the real western world. :o

This looks like 3x2 to me (excluding eye guards).  If it really was a 2 point (2x2) the eye guards can be counted for purposes of shooting him if they're at least an inch long.
According to the regs "3 Pt. Minimum: A legal deer taken in these GMUs must have at least 3 antler points on one side. A 3x3, 3x2, or 3x1 are legal in a 3 pt. min. unit. Antler points must be at least one inch long including eye guards.
Take up your bow, a quiver full of arrows, head out to the country and hunt some wild game.  GEN 27:3

That's a good guess teanawayslayer- we do live in cle elum. All he told me is that he spotted the buck from a couple ridges over and from that far it looked big. Then as he got closer and closer it still looked big but was only a two point with eye guards. It stepped out in front of him at about 100 yards and he dropped it. Its hard to see but those eye guards are over 2 inches long.
I would have to guess the swauk area also seeing a buddy of mine was chasing him around during archery season.
Happiness is being in the woods!!!

FYI...the eye guards are well over an inch, they are deceiving in the photo due to the size of both guys and the fact its 27" wide. Lets play the "guess the score game" shall we? We scored it last night after the taxidermist removed the cape. What say you?
