A1 taxidermist in whatcom county
« on: January 06, 2014, 09:58:31 AM »
My son shot a decent buck this year and he wanted to get it mount. It not worth a 6 or 7 hundred dollar mount and we heard of this guy last year in bellingham that was pretty cheep so we went and checked out his work yesterday. unbelievable work for 350 $ . He said he is having the capes sent out and professionally tanned and a pedestal is the same price as a shoulder mount, you  pay cost for the base. ( the base in the pic is 80$) i had him look it up for me. took some pics to show you his work. Pretty damn good. He said an elk 7 to 900$ and he as already applied for his bird licence. I asked him why he is so cheep and he said he retired and is just looking to keep busy. He said he applied for his bird license and should have it soon. I hope he can do birds as well as he is doing deer and elk. said a bird is going to be around 200$

hope this helps some of you guys out
