Nisqually Delta ( wheres the ducks? )

I drive up and down the I-5 corridor every day and I have not seen much for Ducks! Ive been in the area at all times of the day and plan on being on the water for the opener!  Any body seen much in the way of ducks.

I have only seen a few ducks, but will be looking more closely tommorow.

I was out there a few weeks back but didn't see a lot as far as birds go. I feel like the year before there were bunches more. 

When did they bust through the dike(s)? I don't follow it much but I've heard that didn't do the ducks in the area any favors.

I was down at the reserve on Wednesday and there is barely any standing water in the fields, and not many ducks at all. We needs lots of rain!

Yeah I would agree Crispy, lots more ducks in the air and standing water last year. I haven't seen much in the way of geese as of late either, and yes we need rain. I sure would like to hear what you guys see in the next few days as I will be on the water first thing Saturday!
