Family/Hunter Headquarters
« on: October 28, 2011, 08:58:08 PM »
My families life revolves around whitetails and spending time in the outdoors. We sleep outside our home nearly 100 days per year. We generally go tent camping in the warmer months and during the colder seasons we spend a small fortune staying in hotels with our kids (2 & 7). This year we decided it might be worth it to spring for a used travel trailer. We are excited to try it out this weekend. Of course it is winterized so we will be dry camping but during the winter we will stay at campgrounds that have showers and restrooms.

well worth the money.  after getting my tent flooded out last late archery elk season i won't be tenting again.  got my  trailer in march, and used for elk season this year.  spent a week in it and loved every minute of it.

enjoy

It's great to hear you are enjoying your trailer. I definitely hope we are just as happy with our purchase. With as much time as we spend outside the home it started sounding like a good idea to have a home away from home. I am sure we will enjoy it more than sleeping in the motels.
