Moe than likely you will find cows and calves that have been killed by wolves. I found 2 in mid september. Hopefully there is snow so you can see just how many wolves or should I say coyotes  are in the area now  :bash:

Water availability is an issue in some areas. Deer are few and far between but it's a fun place. Good luck and have fun!

The entire area up there is steep country, have fun and take lots of pics.

got back yesterday. we didnt see any legal bucks but, the first thing i saw was a pretty good(290-300)6x6 bull, then ryan spotted a monster bull. we called him the 380 bull, but who knows until you measure him.i think anyone whose name isnt agnew would have shot him. the bulls were still bugling their guts out. i cant believe how late they were rutting.  disappointed in the deer hunt, but hard to complain about seeing good or great bulls daily.  saw some guides checking out that area, so if a whopper comes out of the wenaha i think this bull had enough character i could identify it.
