Snoho Done for Humps?
« on: October 05, 2011, 07:11:29 PM »

Just curious, haven't been there in two weeks so just checking to see if the humpies are done. I caught a few and am a bank fisherman so looking for the easy ones and I've heard the silvers can take a lot more work/time.

Thanks,
Buckslaya

Humps should all be dead soon ... and as far as silvers go Well lets say it takes a little more patients ..i fished today for about 4 hours casting dicknites and cought one and lost one ... Use 10 to 12 lb test leader and always fish with the longest leader you can cast ...I like at least 4 to 5 ft of leader ... you will catch more fish that way when it comes to silvers and dicknites  :twocents:

Humpies are done. As far as silvers being tougher? That just really depends. I've had a lot of days on the snoho where I haven't caught silvers and also a lot of days I've caught them hand over fist. Just like humpies. Take bowhunter45's advice on the dick nites.

I would agree with you that they are in the dying process. went out on the snohomish this past sunday. Nothing rolling, a few that looked like death, and a more floaters.

Not trying to thread jack, but quick question as far as dick nites and silvers. What colors work best? Green and blue? Pink?
