Unit 117 Disabled Antlerless Moose
« on: October 06, 2011, 11:25:36 PM »
Could use a little help finding filling an antlerless moose tag. Went opening day and did not see a moose at all. Went over to Tacoma Creek area and drove the roads around Boulder Mt and Calispell Peak. Did not find any fresh sign in the area. We drove rds 9521,629,464, and even went over to Middle Fork Calispell Creek (busy place) and still nothing. Am I in the wrong place or just too much traffic with animals brushed up. Looking to head that direction again next week. Any one with any ideas or cow moose sightings would be appreciated as I am not very mobile. Thanks

Sorry, I was up in that area last weekend.  Saw a good bull, a cow and a calf in the next unit over to the west from you.  Won't be headed back up that way again this season though.  Good luck and stay out there, you'll find 'em...
