This is the same story I posted about in the first half of this http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,84504.0.html but I did not want to share her name as she is a friend of a friend.

The second part is pretty chilling.

i had to protect myself from a young tom when i first got stationed back at lewis at 2nd bat, shot the cat at 5ft, i am glad my son wasnt put in that situation and it makes it tough because i dont let him go off on his own and he is 16, but i have a feeling wolves will be alot worse because theu are alot more brasin and hunt in packs

Im gonna start carrying the A098 with 2 30 rd mags on it.  A pack of wolfs would be hard to kill.    :chuckle:

sounds like she had a tag as well. i don't see how there could be any hard feelings about what happened here. other than the fact that she was almost wolf food.

Not surprised to hear about this. Found too many wolf killed animals in the area the last few years..

:yeah: So she gets heat because she was saving her life :bash: I am happy she killed a wolf but not happy on how she didn't have a choice. I hope the encounter didn't damage her love of hunting!

:yeah: i don't see the problem she had a tag she filled a tag. being forced to kill anything sucks but she had the tag to do so.  to her for being prepared if she didn't have the tag you know the anti's would want her head
