This is our "Secret Spot".....so how could you know about it  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

I am very impressed with the stability of these boats. I am 300+lbs and have added a electric motor and batty to my set up, and it is very stable. I have no fear of standing up in it at all, I do it all the time.
If these do get soaked with water, they will float, they have about 4 cubic feet of Marine grade foam in the front and back of the boat, so I would venture to say that the worst thing is the freezing water to worry about if they do get filled with water some how. I actually was going to test that theory this summer by purposely filling it with water and seeing how it would do but never got around to it.

And they were a blast to build and we keep coming up with things to add to them to make them more custom.

I plan on building another one that is 10ft long for me and my dog. I am planning on modifying the front of the boat so the top deck is longer (reaches farther back) and cutting a platform on it. Keepinf some of the shape but then flattening out the top so my dog can sit on  it. It is going to be hard to not hunt with my dog in these but will make exceptions where I  bring him and hunt from shore and use the boat for setting Deeks.

Great to see your project done and put to use . I would be interested in the plans if you have them ....I did follow up on how you build it ,but I can't remember if you had a link to the plans or not. Now 10' sounds like lot of fun .... it looks like I'll be siting home most of time in winter cause there is no work ,and if it is inexpensive I could do it .  So if you can can you post the link or PM me? Have fun
Everyone thinks that I'm freak ,I don't look different do I ?

Hey Cap.Silver -
I might could be into helping or what-not. I would like to build my own also. Lemme know if you want a hand - I do have a tiny bit of experience painting one.
