Deer Area 1060 (South Spokane) HELP!!!
« on: October 10, 2011, 09:09:41 PM »
Hey everybody,
Short story, my bro-in-law drew a whitetail doe tag for this area, a few months ago he called the WDFW office there in spokane for leads to landowners, they said call back a few weeks before the season starts.  So he did, and they said nobody has called in this year to allow hunters.
Now we are stuck, this would be his first deer, I really want him to get one after years of hunting, Can anyone provide a lead for info of where to hunt? Please send me a PM if possible.  Thanks everyone.

any GMU within the 1060 deer area, but this is a real small area, just south of I-90.

I see some state land in the far southwest part of the Deer Area. You might check that out. Looks like it has a county road accessing it (Duncan Rd).

Lot of bigger plots along Palouse highway, would knock on doors.  Would probably help if you were a bowhunter.  Lot of houses around there that people might be worried about high powered rifles.
