Selkirk Moose Down!!
« on: October 10, 2011, 09:55:08 PM »
Here are a few pictures from my Selkirk moose hunt. It was a fun & exciting hunt, definitely a once in a lifetime hunt, & can't wait to be able to go again with friends & family when they finally get drawn! We hunted for 7 days, covering & glassing lots of ground. We saw 5 moose (3 bulls & 2 cows), 4 bears, & lots of deer. I got my bull on the afternoon of the 7th day. He is 46 inches wide! We were able to get him out whole, thanks to a chainsaw winch...which worked great! Thank you to everyone on Hunt WA & everybody else who helped make this a successful hunt, (including the farmers who let us strangers from Wenatchee use their tractor to hang & skin my moose!)

Love that third pic!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Awesome bull, congrats!
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
