Our first litter will be here next week.
Ava's first Xray showed 8 puppies, but doc said he thinks there are 9.

Ava 2 year old yellow lab, excellent background all yellow and black heritage. She is my family dog, good with kids and loveable.

Scout 3.5 year old black lab, excellent background all yellow and black heritage. He is my go dog. Loves water and retrieving.

I have pedigree on Scout and Ava, plus grandparents and some great grandparents. Lots of field trial dogs in the background.

Well, last weekend I was planning on getting another pup since my old yellow is now nearing his lifespan and has been the ultimate couch dog in his retirement.
Long story short, I got screwed big tim by the *censored*. He promised me that he would hold the final two pups for me to choose from until a set day. The dink sold the pups without even calling me two days prior to me coming down. Atleast I found out before the 400 mile round trip happened, had to see a post he made on another BB to know he sold them.

Guess I just had to vent a little, I know selling pups can be a pain in the ass and ya get alot of no-shows but if ya can give courtisy call or not make any commitments like the above dork did to me.

Good luck with your litter and hopefully you will have 9 healthy little ones running around soon with momma.

Choc lab i was just putting out feelers. The pups are supposed to be here today or tomorrow.
I will get some pics of the pups and there progress and will put a new post in classafieds.

7 yellows 2 black.
3 yellows are females.

mama did great. I helped alot.
First one was a surprise, but i built a welping box 3 weeks ago. So she had them in her box.
I walked in the room and she was looking at somethink in the box and she looked confused. Like what the hell is this thing???
But after that she was a champ.
We have 9 healthy puppies, all going in for dew claw removal on monday. These puppies will be awesom if they are anythink like there mom and dad.
So if anybody knows someone that needs a good puppy, that will be well introduced to hunting and family these will be it.
