Last week's Idaho wolf
« on: October 31, 2011, 11:32:55 AM »
Saw this dude pretty close to a dead cow elk, the elk was near a road and the backstraps and hind quarters were gone, I believe it was either hit by a car or shot by a hunter with a antlerless tag. Anyway this is the first wolf I've personally seen and it looks like a dandy!! Also a black fox!!

Game warden in the north fork told me if  I run out of tags, get a c tag.  If I see it shoot it!  Lol. Btw I have a tag, was that sighting in the panhandle?  I'll go whack it!

That first pic is a perfect example that it ain't no coyote. If you see a dog like that in the wild and the "Gamies" try to tell you that you saw a coyote?..............That Person is on crack!  There is no way anybody could tell me that was a coyote, if I saw that! That first pic for me, is, so far, the single best pic of a true wolf alive in the wild that I have seen yet. Oh man I do not want to see this in my honey hole.

No weapons in the company rig :( If I could carry a rifle with me I'd have a wolf tag and a elk tag. Would've filled em both last week :chuckle:
