Alaska Caribou hunt Need some advice
« on: October 13, 2011, 12:15:03 PM »
I'm planning a caribou hunt for next year for a friend and I and was wondering if given a choice between caribou units 9B, 17B and 19B which one would you go to and why. I would appreciate first hand experience preferably but if you know someone that has been to any of these units please feel free to chime in.

You might check with Cohoho on here.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

I would go either 26, 23 or 24.

Have not hunted the ones you are talking about but I have hunted all the other ones with excellent success. For a DIY hunt.
