Decoys
« on: October 13, 2011, 10:41:42 AM »
I have a lot of decoys and no longer bird hunt. (Mallards, hens, pintails, etc) Have no clue what the value of my decoys are. Any idea how to price them? All in good shape.

Check the classifieds here and compare. Google them. Post them.

I believe that the Mallard drake (very left) and the hen (very right) are "Tangle free" brand or similar and go new for $24 a dozen each (I bought some last year) I'm not sure for the middle birds ,but they all look like inexpensive decoys to me.
Everyone thinks that I'm freak ,I don't look different do I ?

The ducks are Carry-Lites and the teal are Flambeau decoys.  The pricing is correct about $24 per dozen new.  Those teal used to be about $19-24 per dozen if I remember correctly.  I think they now sell them in a 6 pack for more.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
