no good
« on: October 16, 2011, 10:58:30 AM »
Missed opening day due to kids football games (good deal, except they lost...both of them). We planned on leaving around midnight just in time to drop off the trailer and make a run at'em. Went to hook up the truck.....brake peddle hits the floor! Been up since 2am (missed my midnight flight) tryin to fix it. Now I'm sittin at a stupid starbucks (flippin rude people!) at 10:54 in the AM waiting for the mechanic to finish working on my truck, writing this post. You guys are awesome but....not as awesome as chasin mulies on the east side. If this fix doesn't break the bank...I ain't comin back! Hell with work! I'm huntin mulies WAY up high! Good luck to all....by the way...any pix from the Okanogan? Post em...thanks for listenin.

highmuley, where abouts the Okanogan you are hunting(I dont need specifics)? I was up there in the Aeneas vallley and got a nice 2x3 during the early archery season. Seen lots of mulies up HIGH. Well good luck......you should do just fine. my pic is on the 3rd page of the 2011 Bucks thread. It says 204 Okanogan

Yup. 204 for me too. A little east of where you were. I did scout a wide 4 point in september. And a few smaller bucks too.I chased him and a smaller buck up in the brush to get some pix (no good ones). I came back down the hill and my wife was pullin away in the truck! I got a bad (in her mind) habit of chasin bucks for miles without lettin her know. She said she figured I wasn't comin back.....again....and was gonna leave me there!!!

yeah I have the bad habit of chasing a buck for miles also. It's an addiction like no other.
