Yes, illegal to take roadkill.

Depends, I believe if you hit a deer during deer season and contact the proper authorities sometimes they will let you tag it and take it (if you have a tag).  :dunno: Other then that....illegal.

I wouldn't think anyone would bother you for moving it. It may be technically illegal to touch it, but there's be no way anyone would charge you with something for moving it. You might call LE to let them know you're doing it.

I would just move it off the road if it's a hazard. I sure wouldn't bother contacting anybody. Just move it and don't worry about the technicalities. This isn't California.

 :yeah: It says it in the regs. You can move it to the side of the road. Thats for any roadkill. You can get a roadkill tag to posses the animal if you struck it but from what I've read it isn't easy. It involves getting the tag/permission from the local authorities.
