tell ya what.  the bikes and atv's don't scare them off.  i have been hunting with an atv my whole life with no problems.  quit crying.  with your logic you should be walking from your house to hunt and not driving to the trail head.  I do agree that the atv's should adhear to the rules as far as staying on the trails and whatnot.  i have done my fare share of packing in and out of the back country and i know if there's motorized access to the area im gonna take my quad.  grew up working smarter not harder :dunno:.   don't blame the atv's for your misfortune or lack of planning whichever it may be... :twocents:

Here we go again..............To the newbies posting crap about us ATV riders, please read all the posts about anti ATVers and pro ATVers. I don't like whiners about ATVers. It's a fact some like, some don't like. Most of the illegal ATV riders hunting around here are not from here. You can tell by the westside license plate holders.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

Why would you call them "selfish".  They have every right to be there just as you do.

Ya know, I never read about ATVers whining about boot hunters that smoke in the woods or slam their truck doors. That runs off all deer, doesn't it ? I mean everything an ATVer does scares everything off in the woods.

Must have been your first year hunting that area, because if its open to them they'll be up there every year. :twocents:

Exactly. People shouldn't bitch about motorcycles or ATVs when they don't have a clue about what they are talking about. Can't bitch if you don't investigate motorized access. :nono:

Maybe they are allergic to horses. or just don't like them   :beatdeadhorse: .  I like my bike better than a horse, I can shut it off and it stops burning fuel. It would be tough to eat if starving though. :twocents:

I'm with you BrianFL79!  ANYTHING that makes noise should not be used to hunt! Lazy, and you have no idea how many animals you passed up! ATV's, scooters, snowmobiles, etc, they all are worthless for hunting! Now, if noisy summer fun is what you want, have at it! Guess they'll hate me too but I don't give a crap! Noise doesn't belong in the outdoors!

These converstations always make me chuckle. I don't have any wheels, wouldn't hunt off of one, but wouldn't mind to have one for the pack out if it was in a legal area. :twocents:

If you're complaining about illegal use (off road in an area that doesn't allow it or on closed roads), I understand your point and agree that illegal off-road riding sucks huge and the people who do it should lose their money and their stuff. However, if you're talking about the legal use of dirt bikes, you've got nothing to complain about. They have every bit the same right to be there as you. I don't like them coming through my hunting areas, so I hunt areas that don't allow them. When I see them in those areas, I report them and follow up to see that something was done about/to them.
