9 year old Grandson takes 2nd Buck
« on: October 18, 2011, 03:03:59 PM »
Well My Grandson did it again.
This is his second buck. He did it all by himself and with a 30-06. I shouldn't say all by himself as maybe Grandpa spotted it for him! But I was impressed as he got it in the crosshairs at 120yards, took off the safety, and pulled the trigger. Perfect neck shot!! It was a little over 200 hundred yards off the road, so we had to hike down the hill to get into a little better position.
I told my Grandson, its not always this easy!! as he has killed his buck on the first day of hunting 2 years running!!

And Dale he wanted you to notice his lucky BEARPAW hat!!! He said to tell Anthony and Brian he scored!

That kid shoots a 30-06. Holy buckets! That is amazing.
Lead em if they're running.

Very Cool Arlie!! Tell him congrats for me. Love seeing the youngsters killing critters. I know another 9 year old that killed a nice 2 point last night and a 10 year old a spike a few nights earlier!! Pretty cool!
