I'd like to get a good deer a cooper would be nice in a 6-6.5mm I havent decieded on what yet. I have a 338 win that is used for now, it shoots nice and flat but its a little bit much for deer and its spendy to shoot.

Heck, put a princess or a horse on the stock and my daughter would carry it everywhere she went.  Once you have little girls, nothing embarrasses you anymore.  The other day I walked throught the mall with a Princess Jasmine sticker stuck to my calf.  At least the gun can deter some of the teasing.  :IBCOOL:

I would like a true lightweight in something like a 6.5x284.  Something that weighs in around 6lbs with scope and sling.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

Yep, daughters will cure you of that real quick!  Would not trade some of the experiences of having my daughter for anything.

Remington 700 XTR in 375 ultra mag
S&W 460 with the 8 3/8 barrel
450 Marlin in stainless w/ synthetic stock
Remington 11-87 12ga.

After these my collection will be complete!  I plan to do this soon and the wife has agreed.  I will have all my game rifles covered at that point.  I will never need another gun.......... except maybe a 50 BMG ;)
