Blacktail buck
« on: October 18, 2011, 08:32:10 PM »
I kind of feel stupid posting pictures here that were taken with a cheap digital but I suppose that if I post them elsewhere they will get moved. Sorry for the quality.

This buck has been hanging around where I work chasing a doe around and tearing up some little trees.

And then this little guy walked by:

And back to the nicer one

Man these types of threads make my week go soooo slow! I might just need to go out Friday after class to feed the addiction. Awesome buck! good to hear about the rut activity!

There must be a bigger buck somewhere around.  Hrs got a good gash on his snout and ribs.  Either that or he's been playing in traffic

I think what you are seeing is the blossom or leaf on the tree that is in front of him?  :dunno:

Your right those are the blossoms. Even the pic under the smaller buck next to the fence looks like he has something under his eye at a glance.  Where do you play baseball

Those are some cool pics, thanks for sharing.
When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.
