Buck man,

If I was new to archery and went to a "pro shop" I would expect them to know what they're doing. Not give me a short arrow and consequently hand problems for the rest of my life. :twocents:

Yeah, almost all of us have moved to carbon now. Back in "the good old days" of aluminum, the arrow shattering when shot didn't happen. You could have a pretty good dent in an arrow with aluminum and just designate it a "grouse/rabbit" arrow, and keep on shooting it. With carbon you could not even know and have a MAJOR problem.

Seen something similar before when I was a kid and overdraws were popular.  Guy draws back, arrow falls off the rest and bam! right through his hand inbetween his index finger and thumb.  Ouch.

I wouldn't keep the bow but I would take a large share of the company if that was me!
Why is it that someone always wants to get sue happy?? Is that a west side virus? :chuckle:
Yes it is a west side virus.  during the mass migration of people form the socialist republic of California, some of them were infected with it, and transplanted a mutant strain in Pierce, King, Whatcom, and Island counties :chuckle:

Well I was gonna take my bow tomorrow. But now I'm thinking I'm gonna take my rifle.

Didn't have a choice. Got put in a rifle stand. Not a very good archery stand so went with the rifle. Plus its opening day of the gun season. Havnt hunted with a gun for a LONG time.

Something very similar happened to me when I was new to archery. Carbon arrow had a crack in it and when I released, it exploded and went right through the base of my thumb...Makes me extra careful to check my arrows before each shot now:)

That shooter is a natural for archery, look how he shot his thumb and finger at the same time with one arrow. That was one amazing trick shot.

A bit more KE and it would have been a "pass through".  And does it say on the riser "breaking all the rules"  :sry:
