10 by 8 mulie buck

I watched a 10x8 mulie buck this morning in a clearcut with 11 does. I had the time to look over all of them. They spent close to an hour in the cut feeding so I got to observe all of them for a long time.
They never knew I was there they fed and moseyed up and over the rim.

Why did you not put the hunt on this sob? I would have hiked myself straight into the grave to put a shot on a 10x8.

Well I was off the road over 4 miles by myself. Also as I grow long in the tooth I pick battles I can win!
First deer I shot was 1966! So I am in no hurry.

Nothing wrong with that Ridge, I let 3 bears walk over the weekend because of the work it would have taken to get them out.
