PVC is easy to use in the meantime, but may break unless you use the heavier wall. Conduit or aluminum is another option. You could make a frame and use the grass mats to camo the boat and make holes in the top for shooting or a canopy so you can shoot out of the sides. The last livingston I saw a guy had decked most of it and the hulls became decoy storage and he build a frame using chicken wire and conduit.
