my brother used to do the same when we were younger (20 years ago), and then he would wear his tee shirt around in the summer was in fashion don't think he could get away with it now (additional 50lbs.)

I always carry a telescoping fishing pole and a bag of baby carrots.....you can always catch a rabbit!

I chose TP because it doubles as a fire starter.  One time I forgot my mountain money in another pack and had to use a page out of a survival guidebook that I found in my first-aid kit.  That was a little rough for my liking.

after a few years in the military i use nothn butt  baby wipes, i will use tp if i dont have baby wipes which is never, but i have lost a pair of undershorts a time or two or came home with a half of tshirt or flannel, but baby wipes are my choice, aint nothn worse tryn to hunt with a case of the ichy butt       

I think my wife and I and kids might have come across one of your accidents with your undershorts.  We now call that the poopy pants road!

I always have wipes at camp but usually just carry tp.  Probably start carrying some wipes in a zip lock now though.

I have had to use a pair of socks before. And then there was the year that I grabbed the tp out of my pack to find that my ex's cat had pissed on the entire roll! How, or why, I still don't know! I don't know what's worse. Crap in the crack, or a crack that smells like cat pee!

On a side note, I know of a few occasions where someone has been pooping in the woods and that's when a buck decides it's ok to make an appearance. It happened to my dad. He leaned his gun against a tree and was taking care of business when a nice 3 point decided to trot out in front of him. He tried to reach his rifle, tripped, nearly fell over into his pile, and by the time he reached his gun, the deer was gone.

Then a buddy of mine told me one of his co-workers was in mid-poop and a nice buck popped its head out of the brush. In a split second decision, he pulled is pants back up and took a shot, while finishing in his drawers!  He got his buck, but his buddies made him ride in the back of the truck back to camp.

That happened to me!
I was mid grunt when a buck stepped out in front of me, luckily I had my .44 mag on my belt around my knees and was able to pull, shoot, grunt and get him.

Well.  This is an interesting subject for sure.  I have use the fingers of my glove and a handkerchief.

Although everyone get caught and has to poo in the woods.  It should not be something someone else should have to stumble across.  I always find time to kick a hole in the ground as to cover up my mess when finished.  I can not understand why people don't take the time to do the same.  Last week I got out of the truck and took two steps to see someones pile next to a fence line.  No doubt this fella had a greasy burger for dinner the night before.  Why did I have to see that?
