First Time I used a trail Cam
« on: October 24, 2011, 12:13:48 PM »
I went home to Chewelah hunting deer and put out my trail cam by a lone apple tree. A lot of small bucks. I could have shot most of these little 4 point bucks but passed. I was looking for that wall hanger. The bigger buck in the pictures we had in front of my buddy's 10 yr old daughter opening morning but she fogged up her scope and couldn't see to shoot it. That was the last time we saw that buck in day light hrs. The 4 point rule realy sucks for the kids. :bash:

dude what a cool variety of critters ya got there ... i agree with ya on the restriction i think its a good rule for adults i wish it was that way across the whole state, but i dont think it should include the youth or seniors or disabled hunters atleast let the youth shoot any deer, they say get kids into hunt which i take 2 to 3 kids out deer huntn every year and its pretty tough for them to get real serious about it when they either one dont see any deer which is common for blacktail or they see a few deer but they arent aloud to take one because of point restrictions or they cant shoot doe, they could definatly think of a way to give the youth more oppurtunitys thats for sure
my grandpa always said "if it aint broke dont fix it"

I agree. Don't hold the youth hunters to the 4pt rule. Nice pics.
