In my dreams...
Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. - Psalm 127:3-5

My luck, I would see something like that either the day BEFORE opening or the day AFTER the last day....

I reemmber that exact feeling.   The day AFTER the general one year when I was a kid, we were eating breakfast and looked out in the field in front of our house and there stood a giant 6x6 muley buck plus eyeguards standing out in it.   Bare in mind this wasn't a field deer usually stand in.   I'll never forget that.  I think it was before i got my first deer too.
