Thanks for all the great comments!  I continue to get a kick out of the App even though hunting season is over for me.  I keep learning about new areas to hunt!   :)

Will there be a version that will work with Blackberry phones? Will the maps show ownership. i.e. private vs BLM, USFS, etc??

Posting from my Android. Will the app cache maps and sat views for offline viewing?

For clarification, Sportsman Regs sells regulations content which includes the map boundary data and hunting rules for each hunting season. Hunters will need to re-purchase a state for the new season because each year the regulations change. However, Game Departments can and do make in-season changes, these changes are free updates (downloads) to customers.

Since hunting seasons are winding down our end of year price drops to $1.99.

The Android version is coming along great.  We should have it ready at the first of the year.  We aim to have the App compatible with most popular platforms including Windows.  Blackberry announced recently that they will soon support Android, we hope our App will also work on that platform and if not, we'll have to make it work.

During off-line viewing, the App does cache satellite and map views, but I would not rely on this as these are based on Google.  The App does not currently show Private, BLM or USFS maps, these are part of our future road map.  However, the App shows all the GMU's and special hunt boundaries and the hunts that are in these areas along with GPS positioning that shows you where you stand in relation to each boundary.....priceless!
