deer hunting first time this season today

I flew in from Florida and went out this morning.  I got turned around and of course I did not have all my crap but holy cow did I walk into a new elk spot.  I ended up popping out on the road about four miles down the road but still have a great new spot.  Note to self:  Bring map, compass and GPS.

I was suppose to go out this morning but my wife has not seen me much and shut down that idea.  So tomorrow evening I will give it a go.
