40 y/o virgin...no more. 1st band

Well I went out with 2 other members today. We went to Skagit HQ. It was a very slow day, only had 3 ducks present shots this morning. I was skilled  (lucky) enough to bring her down. Went and grabbed her and to my surprise she was banded  . My 1st band; only took 25+ yrs of hunting waterfowl. Hen mallard. Funny thing is this one is kind of boring; she was banded on 8/12/11 in Lynden. She made it 50 miles South.

The tides weren't very good, but we made a try of it. Thanks D-Rock425 for letting me and my son tag along. We'll shoot more next time.

The band harvest seems to be pretty good this early season.  Lots of guys getting jewelry.
