Man rabbits are everywhere. You live in Cheney? I'm gonna guess that if your hounds are any good at all, u could release them at just about any public land around there and find some rabbit.

Have not seen as many rabbits east side as you would expect.  Place should be crawling with them.  I've got young girls that I need to find a good rabbit hunting place for when they are old enough to shoot them.

I hunt Quincy towards Ephrata for birds and see rabbit sign but I've never seen rabbits. Brush is super thick so they hide real well. If you use dogs they might help you flush some out. All the land I hunt is public.

I live in vancouver the best rabbit hunting I've everr done has been on the islands in the columbia river near longview.  Any of those islands carry tons of rabbits without predators.  We shot a bunch with a couple dogs

Use to see a rabbit or two everytime I went pheasant hunting on our property in Pullman.
