My opening day Eastern WA deer
« on: November 01, 2011, 12:35:11 AM »
45 minutes and 27 deer into the season I pass on a 3 point because I was looking for the small 4point that I jumped out of his home last year with no shot taken. 10  min after I pass on the 3point I'm scanning the draw where I thought this 4 point lived. Finally after glassing the same crap 10 times, something looked different! threw up the bino's took one look and knew this was my ghost buck from last year. He stuck his head out but remained frozen like a Blackie ( he thought I didnt see him ). It has to happen fast if you want don't want him to bolt outta there! anyway's, threw up the binos, took about a half sec to verify and said to my self "oh your dead" lol. :chuckle:.yep! I really said that, to who? I have no idea. lol.
Luckily drew the second deer tag for the same GMU and took about 10 min to kill my doe after I had this buck out and lunch in me!
