Been looking for a long time for a buck like that, incredible westside buck, probably the biggest you'll ever see on the westside, but that last picture confirms its a muley that definately migrated well past the crest.  Doesn't really matter, its the buck of a lifetime in this state for sure.

Congrats, Bigfoot. That is one hell of a buck. Thanks for the story and more pics. Don't worry about the genetics controversy, any one with a brain, can tell that that isn't pure blacktail, but it doesn't take away from a nice mature buck.

You gotta say it no matter what.  It is an AWESOME deer.  You should be very proud no matter wht he was.  I have hunted Index, it is where my biggest BT came from.   That area can be brutal! Making him even more of a trophy in my book!

Congratulations again!

Great buck Bigfoot. Its not often you see a 160" buck pulled out of the west side. Well done, keep us posted on the book status.

If there's anything we've learned over the year's, we know that all three species can move well outside of the line in the sand for where they are supposed to be. Great majestic looking buck, I'd have buck fever for shure, you did good just to get a shot off. :)

He probably didn't have buck fever, because when he shot it, he thought it was a 2 point.   :chuckle:
